This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit a copy of the manifest to <br /> the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)within 60 days if the destination facility signed manifest <br /> copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Locate the destination facility signed manifests listed above and maintain in the facility file <br /> for three years from the date of shipping. Send a copy to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD). <br /> This is a repeat violation(Class 2) Violation. <br /> 48 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3010022-Posted emergency information next to the telephone. <br /> OBSERVATION: Modified contingency plan information was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas <br /> directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number <br /> of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of <br /> the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the modified contingency plan information or keep a copy of a complete <br /> consolidated emergency response/contingency plan on-site. Provide a statement to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is(Minor)Violation. <br /> 53 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3030030-Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br /> fire/explosion/release. <br /> OBSERVATION: Dark staining was observed around dispensers 2, 3, and 4. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean stains. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations for hazardous waste.
