Remove any absorbable materials from the procedure areas of the facility. <br /> <br />35. A body art facility shall maintain and follow a written Infection Prevention Control Plan. The infection prevention <br />control plan shall have procedures for safe handling and disposal of sharps waste. HSC 119313 (a) & (b)(6) <br /> <br />OBSERVATIONS: <br />1. Infection prevention control that was onsite did not have the sharps waste hauler information filled out and owner noted <br />no current waste hauler is contracted with the facilty, so no waste hauler contract was provided. <br /> <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br />1. As soon as possible, contract a waste hauler and provide waste hauler contract to EHD. <br />2. Update Infection Prevention Control Plan to include the waste hauler information and submit to EHD. <br /> <br /> <br />Corrections due to EHD by April 15, 2025 <br /> <br />Notes: <br />1. Report emailed to alienkitsuneart@gmail.com <br />2. IPCP disinfectants listed Cavicide, Madacide, and bleach. Only one available at time of inspection was Cavicide. Owner <br />noted that current use of disinfectant depends on what is availbale to purchase at that time. Note to operator to remove <br />bleach from IPCP. Madacide and Cavicide are common in Body Art industry so both of these are approved. <br />3. Black Claw needles with lot number 0301 were observed on site and sterilization certificates for said lot number were <br />provided. <br />4. Reviewed 1 year of training records for IPCP. Facility changed owners on 11/24/25. Noted to operator, IPCP training <br />records to be maintained for three years. <br />5.
