The Department may waive the <br />requirement for hand delivery if it determines that the violation has been corrected within the <br />30-day period. If such a waiver is given it shall be given in writing within the 30-day period. <br />Repeat notice by hand delivery shall be given at least once every 3 months for as long as the <br />violation or failure continues. <br />Non Community Water System <br />(Mail Delivery of Notice of Water Quality Failure) - Notice by direct mail or with the water <br />bill shall be given once within 30 days after the violation or failure. The Department may <br />waive the requirement for mail delivery if it determines that the violation or failure has been <br />corrected within the 30-day period. Repeat notice by mail shall be given at least once every 3 months <br />for as long as the violation or failure continues. <br />This letter is to inform you that, based on our records, Pacific Bell Water System has more than one <br />sample collected during the month of August 2004, which is coliform-positive. This is a violation of <br />the Total Coliform Maximum Contaminant Level (MCE), California Code of Regulations (CCR), <br />Title 22, Article 3, Section 64426.1.
