Sample results collected for a system in a calendar <br />month must be reported to the Environmental Health Department no later than the tenth day of the <br />following month. PBWS was notified of the deficiencies during a routine inspection of the water system on <br />March 5, 2002, If current results are not received by this office by June 10, 2002, further enforcement may <br />be required. Please be aware that you are being billed at a rate of $89 per hour for this and any further <br />enforcement activity required. Specifically, the following chemical sampling is deficient: <br />P-. SECONDARY (AESTHETICS): General Mineral and General Physical are due once every 3 years <br />□ (California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22, Section 64449 (c)). <br />INORGANIC CHEMICALS: Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (b)(1)). This <br />Department currently waives asbestos and cyanide. <br />□ NITRATES: Required annually (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (a)). <br />□ NITRITES: Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (a)). <br />—. VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOCs): Required once every 6 years (CCR, Title 22, Section <br />H 64445.1.) <br />MTBE: Initial sampling required quarterly, then annually for two years followed by 3 or 6 year <br />□ intervals based on vulnerability (CCR, Title 22, Section 64445, 64445.1). <br />p, SYNTHETIC ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (SOCs): Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section <br />64445.1). This Department currently waives SOCs except for DBCP and EDB. <br />— RADIOLOGICAL: Required every four years if compliance is met by conducting four consecutive calendar <br />□ quarterly samples (CCR, Title 22, Section 64441).
