SA N 10 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> 5. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must possess, or work under the direct <br /> and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while <br /> work is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the CSLB <br /> • A current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the ICC <br /> • A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being <br /> tested, or the developer of the testing equipment or test method(s) being used <br /> 6. Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service <br /> technician must, at a minimum, be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess <br /> all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working. <br /> 7. The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/ and ensure all UST information is current. <br /> 8. All secondary containment system which is not an integral part of the primary containment shall <br /> be designed and constructed according to an engineering specification approved by a state <br /> registered professional engineer or according to a nationally recognized industry code or <br /> engineering standard, per CCR 2631(d). <br /> 9. This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
