Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan The Home Depot Store #5857 7 Emergency Response Equipment Fire extinguishers are located next to the HHM CSA and throughout the Site (Figure 2). The fire extinguishers can be used by properly trained associates to put out small, incipient stage fires'. The building is also equipped with a sprinkler system. Spill kits and eye wash stations are located throughout the building. The location of each spill kit and eye wash station are identified on Figure 2. Each spill kit is equipped with a broom/dustpan, eye protection, absorbent materials, plastic bags, non -hazardous cleaning solution, shovel, and nitrile gloves. Site associates use the PA system, cell phones, or two-way radios to communicate with each other during emergencies. Emergency response equipment is inspected on a monthly basis. These inspections include the quantity and operational condition of response equipment. Table 7-1 contains a list of emergency equipment at the Site, a physical description of each item, and a brief outline of each equipment's capabilities.
