Possesses a valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced <br /> 5. Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site <br /> who possesses all of the following: <br /> f. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board <br /> g. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br /> Council (ICC) <br /> h. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br /> being installed <br /> 6. Individuals working under the direct supervision of a qualified UST installer or UST service <br /> technician must, at a minimum, be employed by the person with the CSLB license and possess <br /> all manufacturer certificates of training for the equipment on which they are working. <br /> 7. The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/ and ensure all UST information is current. <br /> 8. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list. <br /> 9. Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval. If an extension to the expiration date is <br /> required, a written request must be submitted to ust(a)-siaov.org prior to the expiration date. <br /> 10. Failure to comply with the listed conditions may result in additional fees or violations. <br /> 11. Additional inspections may be conducted by the EHD.
