Data for this location are from December 20, 2024.

Leachate may be recirculated at the Site in accordance with the RWQCB-approved Leachate Recirculation Plan
(Forward 2017). According to the Forward Landfill Operations Manager, leachate recirculation was performed at
the Site during fourth quarter 2024 for dust suppression activities. The Site’s maximum average leakage rate,
which was proposed and documented in the 2024 WDRs (RWQCB 2024a), is 14,445 gallons per day. The
maximum average leakage rate was not exceeded in fourth quarter 2024 at the Site.
The Site has approved the disposal of up to 200,000 gallons per year of landfill gas condensate from the Foothill
Landfill located in San Joaquin County. During fourth quarter 2024, the Site did not accept any leachate from the
Foothill Landfill.
4.2 Leachate Seep Monitoring
Leachate seep monitoring is conducted in accordance with MRP Section D.2 (MRP Tables 29 and 30 [RWQCB
2024a]). The surface seeps at the Site are inspected weekly.
No surface seeps were observed at the Site during the fourth quarter 2024; therefore, no seep samples were
collected.
4.3 Cannery Waste Land Application Monitoring
This section describes the monitoring conducted during fourth quarter of 2024 associated with the cannery waste
land application and provides the associated monitoring results. Cannery waste land application monitoring is
conducted in accordance with MRP Section D.3 (RWQCB 2024a).
The last day cannery waste was applied was October 31, 2023. Waste was not applied in 2024, however, crops
that were planted to remove nitrogen were removed in 2024. The sections below summarize the cannery waste
land application and crop harvesting. This process will no longer occur now that the land application has ceased.
The groundwater monitoring discussed in Section 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 will continue under the post closure
requirements listed in the MRP (RWQCB 2024a) or until approval to cease monitoring is granted by the RWQCB.
