Part A - PROJECT/TASK INFORMATION Project/Site Name: GSH OxyChem-Stockton Project Number/Org.: TR0712 Site Address: 1904 West Charter Way,Stockton,California Task&Worksite Routine Collection of Shallow Soil Samples from On-Site Locations Description: Soil samples will be collected at four depth intervals(0-0.5 ft bgs, 1-1.5 ft bgs,3-3.5 ft bgs,and 5-5.5 ft bgs)at five locations at the subject site located in Stockton,California. Soil sampling will be conducted using a hand auger and slide hammer;the hand auger will be advanced into the soil until the appropriate sample depth is reached,at which point a slide hammer will be driven into undisturbed soil until a 6-inch stainless-steel sampling tube is completely filled.The sample tubes will then be covered with Teflon,capped at each end,labeled,immediately placed in a cooler with ice,and transported to Eurofins-Calscience under a chain-of-custody. After the five borings have been advanced to terminal depth and all required samples collected,each boring will be kept open with a six-foot length of%-inch PVC pipe until the end of the day,so that a grout inspector from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department can observe grouting of each boring.Borings will then be grouted to surface with neat cement using the tremie method or free fall while in the presence of the grout inspector.
