3.0 Methodology <br /> The following areas of concern are included in this assessment: <br /> Area of Concern Borings Analysis EPA Method <br /> Analyze two (2) selected soil samples (one [1] per boring) <br /> for VOCs,TPH, metals via EPA Methods 8260, 8015, and <br /> 6010/7470 <br /> Former Septic Tank and Two (2) borings (SB1 and <br /> Leech Line Vicinity S132) to 25 feet. FR contracted GPRS of Fairfield, California to assess the property for any potentially unknown buried <br /> features, as well as to clear utility lines in the vicinity of the proposed boring locations. No anomalies indicating <br /> the presence of buried underground storage tanks, drums, or other similar potentially unknown features were <br /> identified by the private locator and utilities were cleared via ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and/or <br /> magnetometer testing. Refer to Appendix A for a photo log of site investigation activities. The private utility <br /> locate documentation is included in Appendix B. <br /> FR contracted GeoEx Subsurface Exploration of Dixon, California to advance soil borings at the subject property <br /> to assess possible contaminants in subsurface materials based on the risk of a release of hazardous materials to <br /> the subsurface from operations at the subject property. <br /> All of the samples were submitted to Pace National Laboratories of, Mount Juliet,Tennessee, a State of California <br /> certified laboratory, using standard Chain of Custody Protocols. Three (3) soil borings were advanced to depths <br /> of 25 bgs site using Geoprobe° 6600 truck mounted drilling rig in the vicinity of the former septic tank, leach line, <br /> and grease trap, as depicted on Figure 2 at the end of this report. Soil samples were screened in the field at <br /> approximate 5-foot intervals using a photoionization detector (PID) for volatile organic compounds at all of the <br /> soil borings. Soils recovered were logged using the Unified Soils Classification System (USCS).
