If broken pieces are too heavy or awkward ask for help. Do not <br />lift more than 50 lbs. without using the "buddy system". Consider <br />breaking pieces into smaller sizes that are more easy to handle. <br />2. Keep hands clear of pinch points, sharp edges or areas that could <br />cause pinching/crushing. <br />3. Stay out of the line-of-fire of onsite equipment or traffic. Use a <br />spotter if you must crouch down when removing cut pieces. <br />4. Broken concrete will be removed by heavy equipment. If smaller <br />debris of rocks are present, they will be removed by hand or use of <br />a shovel. <br />L <br />6. Confirm all Cutouts are covered or <br />filled <br />- Slips/Trips/Falls 1. Visually inspect each and every coring or cutout then cover all <br />holes or gaps. Do not leave open hole or cuts that could be a hazard <br />to others. Remember to lift <br />with your legs and not your back, keep a firm grip on load being <br />lifted. Do not over extend your arms when lifting heavy objects. <br />3. Make sure all slurry is cleaned up and surfaces are dry prior to <br />departure. Leftover slurry must be place in a drum. <br />4.
