Set-up and Delineate Work Zone - Overhead utilities (electrical, gas, <br />water, etc.) <br />- Slips/Trips/Falls <br />- Vehicle and Equipment Traffic <br />1. Visually inspect areas to ensure no overhead hazards exist, <br />set up away from overhead hazards, delineate areas with <br />overhead hazards and use signage to communicate the <br />hazard(s). <br />2. Visually scan the area for hazards, be aware of uneven <br />surfaces, watch where you walk, wear boots with adequate tread <br />and a raised heel, do not take backward steps without looking. <br />3.
