<br />13 <br /> <br />2.2 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />The plans and specifications supersede this scope and shall not be relied on for project <br />implementation. <br />ICS will provide the labor, equipment, and materials to perform the following activities: <br />I. Mobilization/Pre-Field Activities <br />• Prepare a site-specific health and safety plan (HASP) before the implementation <br />of the proposed demolition and UST removal activities. A daily tailgate safety <br />meeting will be conducted each morning, and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) will <br />be included for all work tasks and any unscheduled work that is performed where <br />the team needs to address a new scope. <br />• Secure the demolition and UST removal permits. ICS has budgeted a total of <br />$2,658 for permit fees. Any additional permit fees will be invoiced at cost + 10%. <br />• Notify the State of California - Cal-OSHA for excavation/trenching activities as per <br />the ICS Annual T-1 Trench Permit. <br />• Notify Underground Service Alert (USA) 48 hours before breaking ground. <br />• Mobilize a 40 -hour HAZWOPER-trained crew, equipment, and temporary facilities. <br />• Install straw wattles around the excavation area to control erosion . <br />• Establish laydown areas for equipment and materials. <br />• Establish stockpile areas for clean and potentially impacted soils. <br /> <br />II. Convenience Store & Trash Enclosure: <br />• Verify lockout/tag out of electrical service to the building. <br />• Remove the entire 1,048 square foot brick convenience store, including the roof <br />structure and interior. <br />• Evacuate all refrigerant from the three condenser units located on the roof. <br />• Properly dispose of all generated construction debris in compliance with the City <br />of Stockton. <br /> <br />III. Canopies: <br />• Verify lockout/tag out of electrical service to the canopies. <br />• Remove two 1,025 square foot steel canopies and four brick-encased steel <br />columns. Canopy footings are to be removed to a depth of four feet. <br />• Properly dispose of all generated metal and construction debris in compliance <br />with the City of Stockton. <br /> <br />
