Remove all items and discontinue the use of the site as storage. <br />27 CCR 21140 - Final Cover <br />Exposed waste was observed on the eastern, southern, and northern slopes. This is a <br />repeat violation. <br />A.) The final cover shall function with minimum maintenance and provide waste <br />containment to protect public health and safety by controlling at a minimum, vectors, <br />fire, odor, litter and landfill gas migration. <br />B.) Cover the areas with clean soil to avoid exposure of waste and to ensure the <br />integrity of the final cover. <br />27 CCR 20820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Erosion channels observed on the southern slope. No exposed waste was observed at <br />the erosion channels. This was previously an area of concern. <br />A.) Repair the erosion channels to prevent future waste exposure. <br />B.) Provide adequate erosion control. <br />27 CCR 20750 - Site Maintenance <br />Burrows were observed on the eastern, northern, and southern slopes. Exposed waste <br />was not observed at the burrows. This is a continuation of a repeat violation. Failure to <br />correct the violation can result in the local enforcement agency (LEA) taking further <br />enforcement action. <br />A.) Repair burrows with clean soil. <br />B.) Operator is to implement controls to prevent future burrows. <br />No Areas of Concern <br />Inspection Report Comments <br />1. A minimal amount of spent shell casings were observed at the gun range. Ensure the shell casings are <br />disposed of properly. <br />2. Site is secured. Vegetation is minimal. <br />3. The site has a continuation of a repeat violation. I reinspection will be conducted in 30 days to verify the <br />violation has been corrected. Failure to correct the violation can result in the local enforcement agency (LEA) <br />taking further enforcement action. <br />4. If owner or potential buyers are contemplating any Post Closure Land Uses (PCLUs) for the site, please be <br />advised that there are additional requirements pertaining thereto.
