Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br />community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br />commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Provide written notification to ust@sjgov.org forthe following repairs and testing (a 48-hour notice <br />is required). Please be aware: an inspector may not be present for testing. <br />a. Secondary containment testing on UDC’s 5/6 and 9/10 <br />4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br />qualifications: <br />a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, <br />current contractor’s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be <br />issued to the installation company), or a Tank Tester’s license issued to the individual <br />by the State Water Board <br />b. Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br />present at the work site who possesses a valid, current California UST Service <br />Technician certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC) <br />c. Possesses a valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced
