Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: LA MESA, 329 LINCOLN CENTER , STOCKTON 95207 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br />OBSERVATIONS: Current food manager’s certificate and food handler cards were not available during the inspection . Provide a <br />copy of a valid 5 - year food manager's certificate and a copy of each current food handler card to lbaker@sjgov.org within 14 <br />days. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br />assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an <br />employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1) Any food handler hired after June 1, <br />2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days (113948). <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed lettuce and cilantro soaking in the three compartment sink. Discontinue this practice. Use the <br />prep sink for soaking and washing produce and the three compartment sink for washing dishes and utensils only. Correct <br />today. <br />Observed the ice scoop on top of the ice machine. Store scoop in a cleanable container to prevent contamination. Correct <br />today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination. Hang mops to dry. Obtain and maintain the most <br />recent inspection report on-site at all times. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing signs shall be posted in each toilet room, directing attention to the need to thoroughly wash <br />hands after using the restroom (113953.5) (b) No smoking signs shall be posted in food preparation, food storage, warewashing, and <br />utensil storage areas (113978). (c) Consumers shall be notified that clean tableware is to be used when they return to self-service <br />areas such as salad bars and buffets.
