The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br />addressed for JC AIR ACADEMY INC as of July 31, 2025. <br />Open violations from September 03, 2024 inspection <br />Violation #10 - 3010014 - Owner/Operator retained copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid <br />batteries for 3 years. <br />OBSERVATION: Bills of lading for the recycling of lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found on site. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR) 66266.81 Requirements Title 13 CCR 1161 <br />Shipping Papers Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 172, Subpart C and 49 CFR 177.817 <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide copies of battery core bill of lading records and a corrective action statement to the <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />Violation #23 - 3030007 - Labeled all containers or portable tanks containing hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers were: <br />- Three plastic 5 gallon container containing used oil were observed in the hazardous waste storage area inside the <br />main shop were missing hazardous waste labels. <br />- One plastic 5 gallon container containing used oil was observed without hazardous waste labeling that was located <br />next to the drums in the main shop. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br />“Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br />accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
