Environmental Health Department <br />CP22 - HW LQG Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />June 05, 2025 <br /> Facility Address: <br />1020 E Alpine AVE, Stockton <br /> Facility Name: <br />Transit America Services Inc <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: (a) The owner or operator shall inspect, where present, at least once each operating day: <br />(1) overfill/spill control equipment (e.g., waste-feed cutoff systems, bypass systems, and drainage systems) to ensure <br />that it is in good working order; (2) the aboveground portions of the tank system, if any, to detect corrosion or <br />releases of waste; (3) data gathered from monitoring equipment and leak-detection equipment, (e.g., pressure and <br />temperature gauges, monitoring wells) to ensure that the tank system is being operated according to its design; (4) <br />the construction materials and the area immediately surrounding the externally accessible portion of the tank system <br />including secondary containment structures (e.g., dikes) to detect erosion or signs of releases of hazardous waste <br />(e.g., wet spots, dead vegetation); and (5) for uncovered tanks, the level of waste in the tank, to ensure compliance <br />with section 66265.194(b)(3). (c) The owner or operator shall document in the operating record of the facility an <br />inspection of those items in subsection (a) of this section. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately start conducting and documenting complete daily hazardous waste tank <br />inspections. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is (Class 2) Violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br />finished on 7/8/25 and replaces the initial checklist. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by August 7, 2025. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br />of having them sign. <br />Starting July 1, 2025, all in-office CERS help will be provided at the EHD hourly rate ($179).
