REGULATION GUIDANCE: New employees shall be trained within 180 days of hire, annually thereafter as specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265.16 and biannually as specified in Title 22 CCR 66265.16(a)(4). The owner or operator shall maintain training records on current personnel until closure of the facility and training records on former employees for at least three years from the date the employee last worked at the facility. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance within the time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)within 30 days. The documentation must include a list of training topics, date of training,job title, name of employee, written job description (qualifications and duties), and employee signed (or certified) record that documents the training.
