SAN J OAQ U N Environmental Health Department <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Jazz Group Inc. 12142 W YOSEMITE AVE, MANTECA July 31, 2025 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 5 CA Code of Regulations 66262.17(a)(7) 3020002 - Facility personnel are trained annually and maintain required <br /> documentation until closure <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not produce documentation during the inspection that demonstrates <br /> employees have complete hazardous waste training as specified in this section. <br /> -Training records for 2022 and 2023 were not available for review on site <br /> Training records were missing the following information: <br /> -Written job description, relating to hazardous waste, for each job title <br /> - List of qualifications required for each job title <br /> - List of training requirements for each job title <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: New employees shall be trained within 180 days of hire and annually thereafter as specifies <br /> in Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.17(a)(7). The owner or operator shall maintain training records <br /> on current personnel until closure of the facility and training records on former employees for at least three years from the <br /> date the employee last worked at the facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days: a list of job titles with written job descriptions, qualifications and duties, and training requirements. <br /> Also, provide a copy of the missing 2022 and 2023 training records. <br /> This is a Repeat (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 11 CA Health and Safety Code 25160.2(c)(2) 3010013 -All consolidated manifest requirements are met <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility could not provide all of the consolidated manifest receipts for hazardous waste transported <br /> from the site in the past three years. The missing receipts were from 2022. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. This <br /> period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding the <br /> regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Locate a copy of the receipts listed above. Maintain the records on-site for three years from the <br /> date of shipping and provide a copy of the missing receipts to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD).
