5. Price, terms of sale, etc. are between buyer and seller only. <br />8. All sellers agree to abide by fair business practices. <br />13. Sale/s of alcohol at the market by any outside vendor is strictly prohibited. <br />14. Smoking is prohibited in and around booth space. <br />RULES & REGULATIONS <br />10. The Lodi Chamber is not liable for any injury, loss of Life, theft, or damage to either the buyer or seller, or their <br />property, arising out of or pertaining to preparation for or participation in the Lodi Farmers Market; whether such <br />injury, theft, or damage occurred prior to, during, or after the market. Seller further agrees to indemnify and hold <br />the Lodi Chamber harmless for and against any claims for such injury, theft, or damage. <br />3. Vendor booth size must not exceed a 13’xl3' space. Booth space numbers are Located on the curbs of the <br />streets. The space number is Located at the center of your assigned area where the space number is located. <br />Vendors must supply their own awnings, tables, display boards, etc. and must keep within their space(s). No one is <br />to put anything in the tree wells. All vendors MUST keep the sidewalk clear and not block entrances of businesses. <br />6. Vendors may not sell any items not approved or listed in the market application. Market staff reserves the right <br />to ask a vendor to remove a product. <br />9. Seller assumes full Liability for products they market and sell, and hereby agrees to hold the Lodi Chamber <br />harmless against any claim of injury, or damage by any buyer or seller, or other persons resulting from the use, <br />consumption, disposition, display, or marketing of seller’s products. <br />12. Should you have any issues the night of the event, please contact the Farmers Market Manager immediately as <br />most issues can be easily resolved prior to the event. There will be no refunds after the event is over. <br />Lodi Farmers Market Rules and Regulations <br />1. The Lodi Chamber reserves the right to refuse participation to vendors who do not comply with the market rules <br />and regulations, or meet market standards which include, but are not Limited to: adhering to all local, city, county, <br />state and federal laws. <br />2. Vendors selling items are required to hold a valid California Resale Number. There is no charge for the permit <br />and it can be obtained by calling 800-400-7115 or online at www.boe.ca.gov. Any required sales tax collections <br />and remittances are the sole responsibility of the seller. <br />4. All vendors must notify the Farmers Market Manager 24 hours in advance if they will not be attending the <br />market or risk forfeiture of their regularly assigned space. <br />7. Any vendor who the Farmers Market Manager feels is not complying with the market rules may be asked to <br />Leave. The vendor may petition to be re-accepted back into the market if approved by the Lodi Chamber. <br />11. Food Vendors must provide their own garbage receptacles and are not permitted to use city or public garbage <br />receptacles.
