Miscellaneous Sources <br /> All waste dumpsters must be covered to prevent rainwater entry and leaks. In particular, <br /> the filter cake sludge bins should be covered at all times and pavement around it is kept <br /> clean and inspected regularly. <br /> All containers stored outside must be covered and empty. All empty open-top drums <br /> should have a cover installed to prevent rainwater entry and all closed-top drums either <br /> have bungs installed or be stored in a horizontal position. <br /> All soiled product stored outside must be stored in accordance with the Cintas policies in <br /> a way that prevents leaks. The area should be covered. <br /> Emergency Prevention and Preparedness <br /> The following equipment& materials are maintained on-site in case of a spill: <br /> Item Location <br /> 55 gallon spill kit Wastewater Room <br /> 15 gallon spill kit Drive Thru <br /> PPE(coveralls, rubber boots, gloves, Wastewater Room <br /> goggles, and face shields) <br /> Eye wash stations WW Room, Drive Thru&Wash Alley <br /> The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the spill cleanup equipment <br /> and supplies are maintained and available during an emergency. <br /> Monthly checks are performed to inspect areas with elevated spill potential. Following <br /> the inspection, all minor leaks, housekeeping issues or any other unusual circumstances <br /> which may increase the risk of a chemical release must be corrected as soon as possible. <br /> The availability of the spill response equipment and supplies should be checked during <br /> the inspection. <br /> The list of items covered in the monthly inspections is included in Attachment 3. The <br /> MaintainX system is used to generate monthly site inspection tasks and as a <br /> recordkeeping tool. <br /> Spill Response Procedure <br /> 1. Upon discovery of a spill, notify the designated Emergency Response Coordinator <br /> (ERC) immediately. <br />
