6.2 To reduce the alrborne dust levels, compressed air may be used roi rriirwi cleaning purposes only <br /> after the majority of the dust has been cleaned up manually. There must be pressure-reducing <br /> devices (safety tips) on air nozzles capable of reducing pressure below 30psi (206kPA). Eye <br /> protection must be worn while using compressed air as a blow down tool. Compressed air shall not <br /> be used to clean dirt and dust from clothing and/or skin. <br /> 6.3 All floors and aisles shall be kept in good repair and be free from obstructions such as protruding <br /> nails, splinters, holes, or other tripping hazards. Floors in working areas shall also be kept clean to <br /> prevent slipping and shall provide an effective means to prevent slipping. <br /> 6.4 Aisle ways and passageways shall be kept open and clean to maintain safe egress. <br /> 7.0 Training <br /> 7.1 PPE. training will be provided annually that includes, but is not limited to the following: <br /> 1. When PPE is necessary to be worn <br /> 2. What PPE is necessary <br /> 3. How to adjust and wear PPE <br /> 4. The limitations of PPE <br /> 5. Proper care, maintenance, useful life, and disposal of PPE <br /> 7.2 All Cintas partners must complete the JSA/PPE Training Program annually, which provides the <br /> understanding and ability to assess hazards and develop JSA's and Task-Based JSA's. Partners <br /> must also receive training annually on their specific-JSA or immediately upon job transfer or <br /> promotion including sign-in documents and learning assessment. <br /> 7-.3 Train-the-trainer training completed, including acknowledgment and learning assessment for_all__ <br /> trainers. <br /> 7.4 Applicable JSA's must be signed and understood annually by all partners. If a partner performs or <br /> manages more than one job, they must understand and acknowledge each JSA for each applicable <br /> position. Appendix C may be used to capture acknowledgement of multiple JSA's <br /> 7.5 Partners must be wearing PPE as indicated in the applicable JSA(s). Partners found to not be <br /> wearing the required PPE will be considered in violation of our safety procedures and subject to <br /> disciplinary action including termination. <br /> 7.6 Partners shall be retrained whenever Managers/Supervisors have reason to believe that any <br /> affected partner who has already been trained, does not have the understanding and skill described <br /> in this section. Circumstances where retraining is required include, but are not limited to, situations <br /> where- <br /> 1. Changes in the workplace render previous training obsolete, <br /> 2. Changes in the types of PPE to be used render previous training obsolete, <br /> 3.
