The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW LQG violations that have not been <br />addressed for CALIFORNIA FREIGHT as of January 30, 2026. <br />Open violations from November 05, 2025 inspection <br />Violation #43 - 3030029 -Conducts/documents daily inspections of hazardous waste tank system. <br />OBSERVATION: The facility has a hazardous waste tank but does not have three years of complete daily tank <br />inspection records. <br />- One 400 gallon used oil tank located inside the hazardous waste storage area <br />- One 12,000 gallon diesel tank located outside of the truck shop <br />- Two 275 gallons motor oil tanks located inside the truck shop <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: (a) The owner or operator shall inspect, where present, at least once each operating <br />day: (1) overfill/spill control equipment (e.g., waste -feed cutoff systems, bypass systems, and drainage systems) to <br />ensure that it is in good working order; (2) the aboveground portions of the tank system, if any, to detect corrosion or <br />releases of waste; (3) data gathered from monitoring equipment and leak -detection equipment, (e.g., pressure and <br />temperature gauges, monitoring wells) to ensure that the tank system is being operated according to its design; (4) <br />the construction materials and the area immediately surrounding the externally accessible portion of the tank system <br />including secondary containment structures (e.g., dikes) to detect erosion or signs of releases of hazardous waste <br />(e.g., wet spots, dead vegetation); and (5) for uncovered tanks, the level of waste in the tank, to ensure compliance <br />with section 66265.194(b)(3). (c) The owner or operator shall document in the operating record of the facility an <br />inspection of those items in subsection (a) of this section. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately start conducting and documenting complete daily hazardous waste tank <br />inspections. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #63 - 3030035 -Tests and maintains all required safety equipment at the facility. <br />OBSERVATION: The overfill alert gauge sensor on the 275 gallon Delo 400 XLE SB Sae 15W-40 oil was observed to <br />be broken. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br />its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the overfill alert gauge sensor into proper working order by repair, replacement or <br />testing. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 <br />days. <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />
