In <br /> addition,the secondary containment pallet contained used oil and had not been properly cleaned up. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br /> This is(Class 2)Violation. <br /> 23 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(f)3030007-Labeled all containers or portable tanks containing hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling.The containers were: <br /> 1. ONE black 55 gallon steel drum containing soot had a hazardous waste label missing the accumulation start date. <br /> 2. ONE black 55 gallon steel drum containing waste diesel had a hazardous waste label missing the accumulation <br /> start date, physical state, hazardous properties, name, and address of generator. <br /> 3. ONE brown 18 gallon steel drum containing used oil was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> 4. ONE black 55 gallon steel drum was missing hazardous waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information:the words <br /> "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Corrected on-site.
