Work Plan for Shallow Soil Assessment and Proposed Well Sampling Schedule Modification
Stockton Charter Way Commingled Plume #CP0057
February 17, 2023
4.0 PROPOSED WELL SAMPLING SCHEDULE MODIFICATION
4.1 PROPOSED MONITORING AND SAMPLING FREQUENCY
Based on historical groundwater analytical data summarized in Table 1, several wells have never
been impacted by hydrocarbon releases or are no longer impacted and are not useful for their
intended purpose. However, certain wells may still be useful as part of case closure evaluations
and are recommended to be retained for that future effort. With CRWQCB-CVR approval, the
wells shown in the table below would be monitored for groundwater elevations annually and to
confirm well integrity. Wells AMW-5, DMW-6, DMW-8, DMW-9, and DMW-15 are recommended
for proper destruction.
Stockton Charter Way Commingled Plume: Proposed Monitoring and Sampling Frequency:
ARCO
Chevron
Equilon
BBIJ
Dolly
Madison
AMW-1
CMW-4A
SMW-3 SMW-26B
SLMW-10D
AMW-1 B
CMW-5A
SMW-3-79 SMW-27C
SLMW-1 1 D
AMW-1 C
CMW-5C
SMW-3-1 19 SMW-27D
SLMW-12A
AMW-2
CMW-6A
SMW-10-81 SMW-28C
SLMW-13B
Semi-
AMW-3
CMW-7A
SMW-11-82 SMW-28D
SLVE-1
AMW-6
CMW-7B
SMW-19-81 SMW-29C
SLVE-2
Annually
AMW-7
CMW-7C
SMW-20- SMW-29D
Sample
AMW-8B
CMW-8C
83.5 SMW-31 B
(2Q/4Q)
AMW-8C
SMW-21-80 SMW-32B
SMW-22-80 SMW-33B
SMW-24A SMW-35D
SMW-24B SMW-35E
SMW-25B
CMW-4C
SMW-10-1 17
SLMW-1 A
Annually
CMW-6C
SMW-11-122
SLMW-3A
Sample
SMW-15
SLMW-8-87
(2Q)
SMW-19-120
SLMW-9-120
AMW-8
SMW-25A
SLMW-2A
AMW-9
SMW-26A
SLMW-4A
Annually
AMW-11
SMW-30A
SLMW-10C
Monitor
SMW-2
(2Q)
SMW-8
SMW-14
SMW-23A
Destroy
AMW-5, DMW-6, DMW-8, DMW-9, DMW-15
Locate/Access*
SMW-8, SLMW-4A
* Well SMW-8 has been blocked recently restricting access and SLMW-4A could not be located during recent events.
These wells will be located and accessed for monitoring and sampling during the 2Q2023 event.
® Stantec 8
