Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br />community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br />3. Email notification to ust(c�sjgov.orq to arrange the following inspection appointments. All <br />appointments must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance. <br />a. Spill container test: Tightness testing (e.g. one-hour hydrostatic testing). Verification of <br />minimum 5 -gallon liquid capacity. Verification of method to keep spill container empty. <br />b. Overfill prevention equipment test: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume <br />shut off. Verification of shut-off valve functionality. *Ensure that all pertinent tank charts <br />and calculations are available for review at the time of inspection. <br />c. Verification that flow restrictors (e.g. ball floats), if installed, do not interf <br />ere with the <br />installed shut-off valve. <br />The facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 and 91 tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br />4. Any individual perf <br />orming UST system installation or repairs, excluding release detection <br />equipment, must: <br />• Possess or be employed by a person who possesses all applicable licenses and <br />certifications required by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB); and <br />1868 E.
