Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br /> community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br /> 3. Email notification to ust(cDsjgov.org to arrange the following inspection appointments. All <br /> appointments must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance. <br /> a. Spill container test: Tightness testing (e.g. one-hour hydrostatic testing). Verification of <br /> minimum 5-gallon liquid capacity. Verification of method to keep spill container empty. <br /> b. Overfill prevention equipment test: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume <br /> shut off. Verification of shut-off valve functionality. *Ensure that all pertinent tank charts <br /> and calculations are available for review at the time of inspection. <br /> c. Verification that flow restrictors (e.g. ball floats), if installed, do not interfere with the <br /> installed shut-off valve. <br /> The facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 and 91 tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Any individual performing UST system installation or repairs, excluding release detection <br /> equipment, must: <br /> • Possess or be employed by a person who possesses all applicable licenses and <br /> certifications required by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB); and <br /> 1868 E.
