Additionally, field personnel will have received the required 8-hour refresher training courses to remain qualified. Copies of the certificates for the 40-hour and 8-hour HAZWOPER courses for field personnel working at the Site will be maintained in the project files. Project Quality Control Manager The Project Quality Control Manager (PQCM), Dr. Debbie Soukup, will ensure that the environmental data and information collected and/or used in the process of decision-making are of known quality, suitable for its intended use, with the aspects of collection and analysis thoroughly documented; such documentation being verifiable and defensible. This policy applies to all data collected for environmental operations, including environmental technology activities, performed directly as part of the implementation of the Workplan. The primary goal of the quality assurance/quality control program is to ensure that environmental data activities performed as part of the Site characterization will result in the production of data that is of adequate quality to support the scientific decisions or actions. In order for this data to be used with a high degree of certainty, its quality must be known and documented. This goal will be achieved by ensuring that appropriate resources are made available and proper procedures followed throughout the planning, implementation and evaluation phases of each environmental project. Environmental information or data is defined as any measurements or information that describe environmental processes, location, or conditions; ecological or health effects and consequences; or the performance of environmental technology. For the Tracy Corner Shopping Center Site Characterization environmental information also includes data compiled from other sources such as data bases or literature or produced from models. 2.0 ANALYTICAL SERVICES The following analytical laboratories are proposed for supporting the implementation of the Workplan. Each of these laboratories are a State of California-certified environmental laboratory with Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) certificates. • Eurofins Air Toxics, Inc., (ELAP Number 3944), located at 180 Blue Ravine Road, Suite B, Folsom, California 95630, will analyze proposed indoor air samples. The proposed Laboratory Project Manager is Ms. Kelly Buettner whom can be contacted at (800) 985-1000. • TEG-Northern California, Inc., (ELAP Number 2012), located at 11350 Monier Park Place, Rancho Cordova, California 95742, will operate an on-site mobile laboratory and analyze proposed soil gas samples. The Proposed Laboratory Project Manager is Mr. Mark Jerpbak whom ands be contacted at (916) 853-8010. • SunStar Laboratories, Inc., (ELAP Number 2250), is a fixed laboratory located at 25712 Commercentre Drive, Lake Forest, California 92630, will analyze proposed soil and groundwater samples.
