As currently contemplated soil samples will be collected for laboratory analysis from the borings proposed
for the assessment of the petroleum hydrocarbon release. While the field observations may dictate
otherwise, the current intention is to collect a soil samples from these borings at a depth of 5 feet bgs and at
the deepest depth possible above the water table, for the purposes of this SAP, it is assumed the deepest
depth will be 8 feet bgs. Additional soil samples will be collected from native soil anticipated to be located
within the upper five feet of the ground surface beneath imported fill material.
Grab groundwater samples will be collected as part of the assessment of the petroleum hydrocarbon release
at depth expected to be 10 to 12 feet bgs. Grab groundwater samples, collected from continuously cored
soil borings advanced as part of the defining the vertical extent of the PCE, will be the subject of an
addendum to the Workplan.
The following table presents the proposed analyses and corresponding USEPA analytical methods.
