A=COM <br /> Americas <br /> Drilling, Boring & Direct Push Probing S3AM-321-PR1 <br /> 1.0 Purpose and Scope <br /> 1.1 This document provides procedures designed to help prevent injuries to personnel working on the project <br /> and pedestrians, property damage, and adverse environmental impact as a result of potential hazards <br /> associated with drilling, boring and direct-push probing. These hazards include, but are not limited to, <br /> encountering underground utilities, subsurface installations, rotating equipment and potential overhead <br /> hazards. <br /> 1.2 This procedure provides the minimum requirements to be followed when drilling, boring, and probing work <br /> are performed. <br /> 1.3 This procedure applies to all Americas-based employees and operations and any other entity and <br /> its personnel contractually required to comply with this document's content. <br /> 1.4 The Manager is responsible for meeting all the requirements in this procedure. <br /> 1.5 AECOM's clients may have specific procedures which shall be followed to identify and map utility and <br /> subsurface structures on their properties or facilities.
