Pandemic COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
Interim Guidelines and FAQ
May, 2021
to the new Travel with Purpose procedure. We continue to monitor regional and local availability of vaccines
and travel restrictions, with the goal of transitioning all regions to a unified Travel with Purpose procedure.
When your region is identified as ready, you will hear more from your Regional leader about how and when the
new travel procedure will be rolled out.
If I am traveling for work, what requirements and safety protocols must I follow?
Employees traveling domestically for work are required to both (1) follow COVID-19 safety protocols as
required by the applicable travel-provider(e.g.,the airline)and regional travel protocols and(2)obtain approval
from their supervisor prior to travel. In addition, where permitted by local law, employees may be required to
show proof of a COVID-19 immunization as a pre-condition for international travel. Where vaccines are not
available or where the employee has an approved exemption in place, a suitable negative test result must be
obtained prior to any international travel, and masks/face-coverings must be worn during all close contact
activities while traveling. Before booking travel, contact your regional travel lead or Global Travel for the
current requirements of your region, the travel-provider, and the destination to ensure you will be able to
comply with all requirements and protocols.
What else should I know before traveling to another office?
Employees who travel to an AECOM office or worksite that is not their home office are expected to comply
with any signposted guidance, such as required mask/face-covering use, social distancing, limits on number
of people in meeting rooms and hygiene requirements. Each office also has a local Workplace Readiness Plan.
If further information is required, employees should reach out to their local SH&E team member for support.
An employee in a COVID-19 high-risk category is concerned that a team member's actions outside
of work (e.g. attending crowded places without a mask) is posing a risk to their health and safety.
What can the manager do?
No employee should be forced to work in a workspace they reasonably believe to be unsafe. Employee
concerns should be directed to their manager and the Human Resources partner to identify what, if any,
accommodation or adjustment can be made in these and other instances.
An employee's vaccine appointment is in the middle of the workday, can they attend?
AECOM will follow applicable laws where requirements for leave in connection with vaccine appointments may
exist. To support employees in obtaining a COVID-19 vaccine, with supervisor approval, AECOM will provide
flexibility to attend vaccination appointments.
Will employees be required to advise AECOM when they have received a vaccine?
AECOM is still exploring this and will consider privacy considerations and applicable law in making its
decisions. At this time,AECOM will not be asking all employees to make disclosures about vaccination, but in
certain instances (e.g. pertaining to international travel), or if a mandated requirement from client, this may
occur if permitted by local law. Any request for disclosure will follow applicable laws to ensure sensitive
information is protected.
©AECOM Restricted AECOM
Cw■
