CITY OF LODI ENCROACHMENT PERMIT CONDITIONS <br /> ATTACHMENT TO ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br /> NOTIFY PUBLIC WORKS (209 333-6706) 24 HOURS PRIOR TO START OF WORK <br /> YOU MUST CONTACT THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPT FOR A FINAL OF THIS ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FOR <br /> WORK IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY <br /> 1. As required by the professional Land Surveyors' Act (business and professions code <br /> Sub-Section 8700-8805) Section 8771; prior to the start of construction, all survey <br /> monuments, within the project limits that have the possibility of being damaged or <br /> destroyed during construction, must be located, and referenced by a Licensed Land <br /> Surveyor, and a Corner of Record or Record of Survey shall be filed with the County <br /> Surveyor. If any of these survey monuments are destroyed, damaged or covered over <br /> during the course of construction, a new monument and monument box must then be <br /> set in its place, at the original location, by a Licensed Land Surveyor, and another <br /> Corner of Record or Record of Survey filed with the County Surveyor. <br /> 2. Affected portions of public sidewalk to be closed in vicinity of work in progress; proper signage <br /> required. "Sidewalk Closed Ahead" signs required at nearest crosswalks; <br /> 3. Street Structural backfill shall be per Std. Plan No. 506, T-trench and Trench Detail for <br /> excavations adjacent to toe of gutter apply; match finish grades; all work shall comply with City <br /> of Lodi Standard Plans and Construction Specifications; <br /> 4. Sidewalk replacement and repair per Std. Plan No. 117; 135; 136; match finish grades; all <br /> work shall comply with City of Lodi Standard Plans and Construction Specifications. <br /> Barricades required at work site. No open excavations except at time of work, <br /> 5. No foreign material to enter City storm drain system; no flushing, no sweeping, not jetting into <br /> gutter. Accumulation of sand or other material within right-of-way which might interfere with <br /> drainage, constitute a hazard to traffic and prior to a pending storm will not be permitted and <br /> must be removed. <br /> 6. No open trenches except at time of work; utilize steel plates or backfill with A.C. cap; <br /> 7. Waste water generated by concrete work to be captured and vacuumed prior to entering city <br /> storm drain system; <br /> 8. No storage of materials on sidewalk or street. Use of private property shall be only at <br /> permission of property owner; <br /> 9. PROPER NOTIFICATION of proprietors/residents required; access to driveways to be <br /> maintained; <br /> 10.No obstruction of fire hydrants; <br /> 11.Turfed landscaped areas and sprinkler systems disturbed shall be returned to a like or better <br /> condition; prior to completion, if working in landscaped area, contact Jesse Barnett, Streets & <br /> Drainage Supervisor, (209) 333-6740, for inspection of landscape. <br />
