(AGE) on behalf of Mr.
Juan Ruvalcaba for the Cancun Restaurant located at 135 East Miner Street in Stockton (Site):
Groundwater monitoring wells are screened in two intervals. Interval "A" appears to extend from
20 to 40 feet below ground surface (ft bgs) and includes well MW-1A. Interval "B" extends to at
least 60 ft bgs and contains well MW-1 B through MW-413 which are screened from 55 to 60 ft
bgs. During the fourth quarter 2018, AGE detected 12,000 micrograms per liter (ug/L) TPH-G,
and 404 ug/L benzene in shallow well MW-1A, and up to 7,100 ug/L TPH-G in interval B wells.
Depth to water in well MW-1A was 16.72 feet below top of casing (ft btoc), and ranged from
16.71 to 18.35 ft btoc in interval B wells. AGE calculated a groundwater gradient of 0.0375 ft/ft
towards the northeast in the B interval. Groundwater gradient and flow direction could not be
calculated for the A intervals as there is currently only one A interval well at the Site.
In the Work Plan, AGE proposes installation of two shallow wells, screened from 13 to 35 feet
below ground surface (ft bgs), and advancement of 4 CPT borings. AGE proposes to advance
the CPT borings to 100 ft bgs, and to collect depth discrete grab groundwater samples. AGE
will submit grab groundwater samples for analysis for TPH-G, TPH as diesel (TPH-D), benzene,
toluelen, ethylbenzene, total xylenes, naphthalene, methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE), di-isopropyl
KARL E.
