First, a Revocable Permit must be obtained <br /> wherein the City grants permission to the property owner to install and maintain a private <br /> well within the City's right-of-way. Second, an Encroachment Permit must be obtained <br /> which allows the actual construction of the well to be carried out in the City right-of-way. <br /> ITEMS REQUIRED WITH SUBMITTAL: <br /> 1 . A formal written request for a Revocable Permit in which you acknowledge that you <br /> have read and understand the City's Standard Conditions Applicable to Revocable <br /> Permits. An acceptable application form and copy of the Standard Conditions are <br /> attached. <br /> 2. A processing fee payable to the City of Stockton in the amount of $980.64 (fee <br /> includes 7.5% Technology and 6% CRS fees). <br /> 3. A detailed site plan and well profile. The site plan shall include dimensions from easily <br /> recognizable and permanent objects in the field (i.e. face of curb, round corners, street <br /> intersections, edge of pavement, etc.) sufficient to determine the precise location of <br /> the proposed well(s). <br /> 4. A Faithful Performance Bond, or other acceptable form of financial security, in the <br /> amount of $1,500.00 per well is required. This bond shall remain in effect for as long <br /> as the well remains in the City's right-of-way. <br /> 5. A certificate of insurance naming the City as an additional insured. Insurance is <br /> required for the entity obtaining the Revocable Permit and the entity obtaining the <br /> Encroachment Permit. A sample certificate is attached. <br /> 6. Should the well(s) be placed adjacent to the property owned by someone other than <br /> the owner of the property requesting this permit, the applicant for this permit shall <br /> submit proof that the property owner adjacent to the well drilling operation has been <br /> notified of the proposed drilling. Proof may consist of a copy of a letter mailed to the <br /> property owner along with proof of delivery of that letter. <br />
