For example, it <br /> is unclear if duplicate or field blank samples will be collected. <br /> Requested Action: Revise the SAP to include the QA and QC procedures. <br /> COMMENT 13 <br /> Issue: The SAP neglects to provide information regarding how the down-hole drilling <br /> equipment will be decontaminated. <br /> Required Action: Equipment such as augers and any other down-hole drilling or <br /> sampling equipment must be appropriate decontaminated between each borehole using <br /> methods such as pressure washing or steam cleaning to reduce cross contamination <br /> potential and subsequent biased sampling results between boreholes. Extra precautions <br /> should be taken when handling hazardous and human waste. <br /> COMMENT 14 <br /> Issue: The SAP neglects to provide information regarding whether the driller will be <br /> licensed. <br /> Required Action: Revise the SAP to include information regarding the driller's <br /> qualifications. Additionally, please clarify how <br /> the soil borings will be decommissioned.
