Project Health and Safety Plan <br /> E N 6 1 N E E R I M G Martin Metals Finishing Inc. (Former) <br /> Stockton, California <br /> • Ensure this HSP is implemented by all project staff; <br /> • Notify the SHSO of all pertinent project developments and plans; <br /> • Acquire resources that are necessary for a safe working environment; and <br /> • Maintain communications between CDIM team and Owner/client throughout the project. <br /> 4.2 Health and Safety Program Manager (HSPM) <br /> The HSPM is responsible for implementing and overseeing the CSP and for developing, implementing, <br /> and approving all HSPs. The HSPM shall have the following responsibilities: <br /> • Review status of latest public health orders from the SJCPHS with CDIM employees and <br /> subcontractors during safety briefings and as-needed based on changing conditions; <br /> • Oversee all aspects of the HSP from development to implementation; <br /> • Review Site-specific documents as they affect health and safety; <br /> • Advise the SHSO on all related health and safety aspects; <br /> • Monitor Site activities for not previously identified hazards and update this HSP accordingly; <br /> • Review and evaluate all monitoring results; and <br /> • Establish and monitor all related health and safety procedures through site safety inspections and <br /> audits. <br /> 4.3 Site Health and Safety Officer (SHSO) / COVID-19 Safety Compliance Officer <br /> (SCO) <br /> The SHSO shall have the following responsibilities as it relates to CDIM and its subcontractors: <br /> • Review status of latest public health orders from the SJCPHS with CDIM employees and <br /> subcontractors during safety briefings and as-needed based on changing conditions; <br /> • Implement COVID-19 protocol; <br /> • Monitor Site activities for not previously identified hazards and update this PSHP accordantly. <br /> Reviewing the technical and health and safety requirements of the project; <br /> • Ensure that CDIM employees comply with any medical work restrictions; <br /> • Ensure that safety procedures are in compliance with all appropriate federal, state, and local <br /> regulations; <br /> • Specify required exposure monitoring to assess Site health and safety conditions; <br /> • Verify that all personnel onsite have received required training, are aware of the potential hazards <br /> at the Site, have been instructed in the work practices necessary for personal health and safety, <br /> and are familiar with the HSP procedures for all scheduled activities and for dealing with <br /> emergencies; <br /> • Monitor Site activities for not previously identified hazards and update this HSP accordingly; <br /> • Notify the CDIM project manager, field staff, client, and subcontractors regarding any required <br /> changes to this HSP; and <br /> • Communicate with the CDIM project manager regarding any accidents, injuries, or spills onsite, <br /> as well as preparing incident investigation reports. <br /> 4.4 Field Staff <br /> The field staff shall have the following responsibilities: <br /> CDIM—Fairgrounds Industrial Park Page 6 <br />
