This information is submitted in accordance with Title 27 California Code of Regulations Chapter 6. <br />CLOSURE <br />• Total permitted capacity of NCRC&SL: 41.2 million Cubic Yards (CY) <br />(Per JTD July 2020) <br />• Closure Cost Estimate: $ 17,296,674 (2023 dollars) <br />• Annual Capacity Filled: 316,200 CY <br />• Cumulative Capacity Filled: 8,902,464 (Through 7-31-23) <br />• Remaining Capacity: 32,297,536 CY <br />• Remaining Closure Cost: $ 15,178,664 (2023 dollars) <br />• Required Minimum Balance Increase (2022-23): $ 148,602 <br />• Minimum Fund Balance Required: $ 2,266,313 <br />• Closure Fund Balance as of September 30, 2023 $ 2,257,011 <br />• Closure Fund Shortage $ 9,302 <br /> <br />CLOSURE FUND BALANCE <br />The closure fund shortage was due to unexpected high inflation and will be corrected this FY.
