North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 22 <br />6.1.7 Sources of Pathogens and Bacteria <br />Because of the inclusion of Escherichia coli (E. coli) on the 303(d) list for the receiving water, <br />the County began to test for the presence of E. coli in its storm water discharges. Significant <br />levels of E. coli were observed in the analytical results as summarized in Table 6.1.7a. <br /> <br />Table 6.1.7.A – E.
