North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 36 <br />Row <br />No. Minimum Permit Requirement Facility-Specific Implementation <br />• Replacement of empty pilot fuel tanks (if any). <br />• Adjustment of flare station controller set points (as <br />needed); <br />• Replacement of the flare temperature recorder data <br />storage disk (as needed); and <br />• Maintenance of vegetation inside the flare station <br />(quarterly). <br />Maintenance of the LFG extraction wells, and piping <br />includes the following activities: <br />• Fixing low spots in laterals and headers that <br />obstruct LFG flow when filled with condensate. <br />• Securing LFG pipe (as needed). <br />• Clearing vegetation around headers to protect <br />headers during grass fires (annually); and <br />• Replacing damaged well heads (as needed). <br />Maintenance of vehicles and equipment includes the <br />following activities: <br />• Placement and use of drip pans (as needed). <br />• Maintenance of containment devices; and <br />• Performing regular Vehicle Condition Reports <br />(VCRs). <br />Maintenance of aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) includes <br />the following activities: <br />• Visual inspections of AST exteriors; and <br />• Regularly scheduled tank integrity testing. <br />Green waste wood mulch colorant dyes: <br />• Visual inspections of totes, drums, and mixing <br />equipment. <br />• Cover totes, drums, and mixing equipment before <br />anticipated storm events; and <br />• Place plastic sheeting under mixing equipment. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
