The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br />addressed for DINO MART as of March 06, 2026. <br />Open violations from January 22, 2025 inspection <br />Violation #50 - 3030032 - Facility equipped with all required emergency equipment. <br />OBSERVATION: The facility is not equipped with the following equipment: <br />-Hazardous Waste Storage Containers . Three 55-gallon drums were observed on site but were corroded and had holes <br />in them. Per the cashier on site, these drums would be used to store hazardous waste in the event that there was a <br />spill that needed to be cleaned up. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facilities shall be equipped with the following, unless it can be demonstrated to the <br />Department that none of the hazards posed by waste handled at the facility could require a particular kind of <br />equipment specified below: (a) an internal communications or alarm system capable of providing immediate <br />emergency instruction (voice or signal) to facility personnel; (b) a device, such as a telephone (immediately available <br />at the scene of operations) or a hand-held two-way radio, capable of summoning emergency assistance from local <br />police departments, fire departments, or State or local emergency response teams; (c) portable fire extinguishers, fire <br />control equipment (including special extinguishing equipment, such as that using foam, inert gas, or dry chemicals), <br />spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment; and (d) water at adequate volume and pressure to supply <br />water hose streams, or foam producing equipment, or automatic sprinklers, or water spray systems . <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately install the following equipment: Hazardous Waste Storage Containers . Provide <br />a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department within 30 days. <br /> <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />Violation #53 - 3030030 - Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br />fire/explosion/release. <br />OBSERVATION: Layers of staining were observed around the dispensers and in the parking lot of the facility. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean staining around dispensers and in parking lot of the facility. Manage the <br />waste according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting <br />documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final <br />disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4
