EHS&S PROCEDURE <br />Document Code NA-SSD-EPR-PRO-5-300 <br />Document Title Site Specific Emergency Action Plan for SSD <br />Uncontrolled when printed - Do not use before ensuring that this document is applicable and that this is the current version. <br />Proprietary and Confidential, Tesla, Inc. | 4 <br />4 Roles and Responsibilities <br />Role Responsibilities <br />All Employees All employees are expected to be familiar with their site’s emergency action plan <br />(this document) and know the basic protective actions for their immediate <br />workspace, including: <br />•How to identify and report various emergencies and request assistance <br />•How to safely evacuate the facility and where to assemble <br />•How to safely shelter-in-place in their work environment <br />•How to account for their whereabouts/verify their safe status with a <br />supervisor <br />•How to perform any special tasks prior to taking protective action that are <br />necessary to protect life/safety in the facility <br />•Participate in training and exercise opportunities related to emergencies at <br />work <br />Site Leaders (i.e., <br />Anyone on-site with <br />direct reports.) <br />All site leaders are responsible for knowing the information for all employees, <br />and: <br />•Ensuring all their direct report employees are familiar with the actions <br />outlined above <br />•Modifying or suspending business operations in consultation with upper <br />management during an emergency <br />•Ensure that all direct report employees are trained on the emergency <br />plan for their area at time of hire, when switched to a different area, and at <br />least annually thereafter <br />•Accounting for their employees following an emergency/evacuation and <br />reporting any missing employees to local emergency response and the <br />EMROC <br />•Supporting training and exercise effort <br />•Updating the site-specific information in this document whenever changes <br />occur. <br />•Posting this document in an easily accessible place for employees to <br />access and review <br />EHS <br />Representatives <br />EHS Representatives may have responsibilities delegated to them by site <br />leaders and are also responsible for: <br />•Ensuring this document is posted conspicuously for all team members to <br />access and review <br />•Communicating changes to this document to team members <br />•Understanding components of the document <br />•Coordinating/assisting in drills, preparation, and disaster/emergency <br />preparedness efforts <br />•Providing support in all other facets of emergency response as <br />requested <br />EHS Specialist •Owns and updates this template as needed <br />•Ensuring communications regarding this document and the emergency <br />response program are delivered to required parties <br />•Ensuring required information for completing this document is available <br />to site management for completion of this document <br />•Providing instructions for and ensuring drills and preparedness activities <br />are completed <br />•Providing resources to on site teams for pre- and post-event <br />•Providing up-to-date training and educational resources
