The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br />addressed for PEARL CROP INC as of May 08, 2026. <br />Open violations from October 02, 2025 inspection <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />Violation #11 - 3030005 - Determined if waste generated is hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATIONS: During the inspection, facility personnel stated that the B&L Neeley Inc. Cleaner Solv Liquid #30 <br />observed in the chemical storage shed is used to cleanout the grates inside the facility. Employee Ervin stated that <br />debris is removed, then approximately 3 gallons of cleaner is mixed with water to clean the grates. EH&S Manager <br />Jackie Serra stated she believes the waste wash water is disposed of down the drain and the facility does not have a <br />discharge permit with City of Stockton. The facility has not made a hazardous waste determination on the waste wash <br />water. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste as <br />specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR). There are wastes that are listed as hazardous wastes. <br />There are wastes that exhibit one or more of the hazardous waste characteristics: toxic, corrosive, reactive or <br />ignitable. <br />Title 22 CCR section 66261.2 – Definition of Waste <br />Title 22 CCR section 66261.3 – Definition of Hazardous Waste <br />A business operator shall keep records of any hazardous waste determinations made in accordance with Title 22 <br />California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 66262.11 for at least three years from the date that the waste was last <br />sent to an on-site or off-site treatment, storage, or disposal facility. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately stop disposing of the waste wash water down the drain, make a hazardous <br />waste determination and manage it according to Title 22 CCR. Use Safety Data Sheets (SDS), waste sampling and <br />test results or other knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination. Waste testing must be done using <br />methods specified in Title 22 CCR including sections 66261.20-24. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br />with your hazardous waste determination.
