SAN JOAQUIN Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> JAHANT FOOD N FUEL STOP 124323 N HWY 99, ACAMPO April 29, 2026 <br /> 56 22 CCR 12 66262.16(b)(6)(A) 3030030-Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br /> fire/explosion/release <br /> OBSERVATION: Layers of dark staining were observed at the base of the diesel dispensers and surrounding areas. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste <br /> constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean stains. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation including disposal records for the <br /> waste generated during cleanup to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage <br /> and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a (Class 2)Violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was finished <br /> on 5/15/2026 and replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork <br /> by June 14, 2026. <br /> Starting July 1, 2025, all in-office CERS help will be provided at the EHD hourly rate ($179).
