3.6 Discussion of general area septic tank repair history: Repair history of the septic tanks in
this area reveal that the leach lines and seepage pits have resulted in consistent performance. There
has been one septic tank that has been filled with sand due to caving in. There has also been one
which has been destroyed. Additionally, there have been additions to the surrounding septic
systems when increased flows were expected. (See Appendix).
3.7 Description of proposed or expected maximum (including second unit dwellings)
septic tank usage on site: There are no plans for construction. Any new systems must be
constructed under permit.
4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION
4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to
ground water in this area is approximately 25 +/- feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal
Depth to Groundwater" published Spring, 2024, by the San Joaquin County Flood and Water
Conservation District. The gradient descends from east to west.
4.2 Description/discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater
contamination issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater
contamination in this area are deemed high due to the shallow depths involved. Insecticides,
pesticides, and fertilizers typically do not significantly impact groundwater at these depths,
however, as with any agricultural area, there is always a potential for contamination due to
chemicals used in the farming operation.
4.3 Description of location (address/APN), type and construction of well and location
(well head/kitchen tap) where water sample(s) were obtained: Water samples were taken from
the spigots at the wells located at 10779 Airport Rd on May 1, 2026 by Bradley Handel of
Dillon & Murphy.
4.4. Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples were
tested for nitrates and DBCP.
4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the
lab: The water samples were obtained from the spigots located at 10779 S. Airport Way. The
samples were taken by Bradley Handel of Dillon & Murphy, and driven directly to Precision
Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech
requirements. The results from the tests can be found in the Appendix.
4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third party
sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the lab. For
Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted information:
The complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix.
5.0 SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION
5.1 Site map showing the location, with dimensions, of the soil profiled pit on the parcel. See
Appendix.
2
