The following is an itemized list of violations that have not been addressed for METAL <br /> FINISHING SOLUTIONS - STOCKTON CA as of April 06, 2026. <br /> Open violations from November 04, 2025 inspection <br /> OBSERVATION 1: During the inspection,the facility stated that they previously used filters as a component of the <br /> finishing process to out filter excess metal and the filters were previously a waste stream.They stated that the filter <br /> pump for filtering metal broke down early-mid 2024.They stated that they now source the parts they finish from a <br /> different supplier and the metal is a higher quality, making the filter step unnecessary.The facility could not provide <br /> any disposal records for the metal filters and no hazardous waste determination was made. <br /> OBSERVATION 2:Vice President Allan Rodriguez stated that the sweepings from metal welding and grinding are <br /> disposed of in the trash. A hazardous waste determination has not been made. <br /> (Continued in overall inspection comments section at the end of the report) <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> OBSERVATION 2: The business operator could not produce documentation during the inspection that any employees <br /> have received DOT training. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Facility personnel engaged in shipping hazardous waste shall be triennially trained <br /> commensurate with their responsibilities to meet the requirements in section 172.704 of Title 49, Code of Federal <br /> Regulations. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who engage in shipping hazardous waste in compliance <br /> within the time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. The documentation must include a list of <br /> training topics, date of training,job title, name of employee,written job description (qualifications and duties), and <br /> employee signed (or certified)record that documents the training. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 1 of 7 <br />
