Pursuant to direction from the California Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), forty-eight(48) <br /> wells are required to be destroyed at the Site. This work plan includes a site description and presents available <br /> information on the wells,as well as provides the proposed method of destruction,disposal of waste generated, <br /> and includes a Site map. A health and safety plan is already on file for the well destruction work as part of <br /> the monitoring well destructions completed in September 2017 at the Tesoro Terminal(an additional copy <br /> can be provided if requested). <br /> 1.0 Site Description <br /> The Site is located in the vicinity of 3003 Navy Drive in the Port of Stockton terminal lease area within an <br /> industrial area of Stockton,California.The terminal lease area contains fuel distribution terminals,associated <br /> pipeline facilities,and is bounded by West Washington Street to the north,Navy Drive to the west,and Stork <br /> Road to the east(Figures 1 and 2).The STTC Stockton Site currently includes above ground storage tanks, <br /> conveyance piping,truck loading racks,several buildings,and rail road tracks. <br /> 2.0 Background <br /> As part of an ongoing open environmental case with the RWQCB, the STTC Stockton Site completed <br /> remediation and rebound testing for impacted shallow groundwater beneath the Site. The RWQCB has <br /> approved the removal of the remediation wells at the Site. Stantec will work closely with San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)to permit the well destructions and insure proper destruction <br /> of the wells. Stantec already has access through the Port of Stockton to complete work for Andeavor and <br /> Buckeye. <br /> Design with community in mind <br />
