(Geosyntec) prepared this memorandum on behalf of the Port of <br /> Stockton(Port)to present proposed groundwater sampling activities to address data gaps identified <br /> based on the third quarter 2018 groundwater monitoring data' and constituent of concern (COC) <br /> evaluation' at Rough and Ready Island (RRI), Port of Stockton, California (Figure 1, Figure 2). <br /> The 2018 Groundwater Monitoring Work Plan (GMWP)3 proposed grab-groundwater sampling <br /> locations based on 2015 groundwater data. This memorandum was prepared in accordance with <br /> the GMWP to present updated proposed grab-groundwater sampling locations and analysis based <br /> on the 2018 groundwater sample results and COC evaluation. Proposed sample locations are <br /> shown in Figures 3 through 7 and summarized in Tables 1 and 2. The groundwater samples will <br /> be collected in accordance with the sampling procedures and Quality Assurance Project Plan <br /> (QAPP) included in the agency-approved GMWP.4 The Port received comments on the <br /> Groundwater Data Gaps Site Investigation submitted on 14 December 2018 from the California <br /> Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) on 31 <br /> January 2019 and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) on 7 <br /> January 2019.
