Groundwater Data Gaps Site Investigation
8 March 2019
Page 4
• GGW-02 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent
of VOCs in groundwater to the west, where wells are damaged and need to be replaced
(Data Gap 3).
• GGW-03 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent
of VOCs downgradient of the source area(Data Gap 2).
At Site 4,the following samples are proposed to be collected to address the data gaps identified:
• GGW-04 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the lateral extent of VOCs
to the north and to establish background VOC concentrations upgradient of Site 4 source
area(Data Gap 5).
• GGW-05 and GGW-06 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the VOC
concentrations west of W-20 (Data Gap 7 and 8).
• GGW-07 and GGW-08 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate western extent
of VOCs in groundwater at Site 4 (Data Gap 6).
• GGW-09 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the vertical extent of VOCs
at Site 4(Data Gap 7).
• GGW-10 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the lateral and vertical
downgradient extent of vinyl chloride at Site 4 (Data Gap 4).
In the Central Area, the following samples are proposed to be collected to address the data gaps
identified:
• GGW-11 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the lateral extent of VOCs
in the Central Area(Data Gap 9).
• GGW-12 and GGW-13 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs to evaluate the lateral and
northern extent of VOCs in the Central Area(Data Gap 9).
• GGW-14 will be collected and analyzed for VOCs determine the presence of VOCs in
groundwater in the Central Area near wells W-299, W-300, and W-318, which could not
be located during the groundwater monitoring sampling event(Data Gap 10).
In the Landfill Area, the following samples are proposed to be collected to address the data gaps
identified:
2019_0308_RRI_Revised Data Gaps Investigation Memo
engineers I scientists I innovators
