Geosyntec'� <br /> consultants <br /> These sites are grouped into the following areas: <br /> • Site 3;1 <br /> • Site 4;2 <br /> • Central Area (Sites 2, 5A, 513, 5C, 43 and 49); and <br /> • Landfill Area(Site 39, IAS-3/4, IAS-07 and IAS-16). <br /> 1.3 Previous Environmental Investigations <br /> A significant amount of data has been collected and analyzed over the last 35 years to <br /> improve the understanding of the hydrogeology, groundwater quality, and fate and <br /> transport of COCs at RRI: <br /> • 89 piezometers and 355 wells have been installed and gauged; <br /> • 13 stream gauges have been installed and gauged; <br /> • 345 wells have been sampled for volatile organic compounds(VOCs); <br /> • Groundwater samples have been collected for analysis of total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), metals, <br /> pesticides, dioxins and furans, herbicides, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) <br /> aroclors, n-alkanes and isoprenoids, pharmaceuticals and personal care products <br /> including DEET and bisphenol a, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, <br /> radionuclides,per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFAS),and general chemistry <br /> parameters; <br /> • Sediment and surface water samples have been collected for VOCs and general <br /> chemistry parameters; <br /> • Three groundwater pumping tests have been conducted; and <br /> • Approximately 250 grab-groundwater samples have been collected. <br /> t The Site 3 Area has also been referred to in previous reports as the Agriculture Area. <br /> 2 The Site 4 Area has also been referred to in previous reports at the Warehouse Area. <br /> 3 The Central Area has also been referred to in previous reports as the Administrative Area or the Site 49 <br /> Area. <br /> RRI Groundwater Monitoring Work Plan 3 1 June 2018 <br />
