Geosynteco <br /> consultants <br /> 5.5 Investigation-Derived Waste Management <br /> Decontamination fluids and purged groundwater from sampling will be collected in 55- <br /> gallon drums and temporarily stored on-site, pending analytical results. Composite <br /> investigation-derived waste (IDW) samples will be collected from the 55-gallon drums <br /> by Confluence after the sampling of the wells and decontamination of equipment has been <br /> completed.The IDW samples will be sent to TestAmerica for analysis under the standard <br /> chain-of-custody, sample packaging, and sample shipment procedures. <br /> The IDW sample will be analyzed for the following: <br /> • TPH by EPA Method 8015B. <br /> • VOCs by EPA Method 8260B. <br /> • Title 22 metals by EPA Methods 6010B and 7470A. <br /> The IDW samples will be run on a standard(two-week)turn-around time.After the IDW <br /> analytical results are received from the laboratory, they will be provided to American <br /> Integrated Services of Wilmington, California (AIS) for profiling. Based on the profile, <br /> the IDW will be classified as non-hazardous, hazardous, or California hazardous waste, <br /> and AIS will select an appropriate waste disposal facility. If requested by the waste <br /> disposal facility, additional analysis may be run on the IDW sample. Once the IDW has <br /> been accepted for disposal by the disposal facility, the waste manifest will be sent to the <br /> Port for signature. The Port will sign the waste manifest and the IDW drums will be <br /> transported off-site by AIS to the disposal facility. <br /> RRI Groundwater Monitoring Work Plan 25 1 June 2018 <br />
